¨ Inspection of original damages and quantification of same

¨ Investigation into circumstances of incident

¨ Inspection of consequential damages and mitigation undertaken.

¨ Commenting upon possible repairs and suitable locations / boatyards.

Normally commissioned by Insurers at hourly rate fees plus expenses.

The yacht may be inspected as soon as possible after the incident and the owner and crew interviewed to build up a  story of the circumstances of the incident.

The yacht will be inspected in more detail to quantify the extent of the direct damages and also the consequential damages if any.

The yacht will be compared to the description of the proposal form to confirm that it had been insured to the correct level and was being operated in accordance with any conditions of its insurance

Possible repairs may be suggested and quotes from repairers  compared. Final invoices and claim document s reconciled and commented upon.
