Such survey visits can be tailored to suit the appointing company’s requirements and can include some or all elements noted in the panel to the right of here.

Inspections on behalf of P&I clubs can take place prior to cover being approved or during a period of cover to confirm that the ship is still being operated as stated, and is being maintained and operated to a sufficiently high level.
